Dreams

Dreams require a dreamer
They have imagination and hope
Dreams are what life is made up of
Without them, how can we cope?

Dreams can be a fantasy, lost within a sleep
Others are goals, we strive to meet
To follow a dream we might like to aspire
A secret yearning, a burning desire

Nothing is better than a dream come true
But if you don’t make it, try not to be blue
Let dreams be a release, instead of a need
Unconscious impulses for our brains to feed

So whatever your dream, live life to the full
Be modest, content and never dull
Never stop dreaming it’s a human trait
A god given blessing and not a mistake

Hello Philip. I'm the forever dreamer so of course I had to turn the page to read the entry. It is lovely. And yes, dreams do come true and without a doubt a blessing. well done and stated. You ended the entry on a beautiful note and thought.
