Dreams

Dreams

They can be paradise or your
worst nightmares

They come in all forms
They happen any night

Brought on by selflessness
conscious and thoughts
Or over barring stress and
thinking

You could be rich
Own everything
Be extremely happy

You could be walking with
family
Having a relaxing day
Being with a loved one

Or

You could be in pain
Losing everything
Suffering agony

You could watch someone die
Cry your eyes out
See your loved ones dead

Dreams are in a way
A meaning

Some mean hope,
Some mean love,
Some mean a new beginning.

Some mean despair,
Some mean loss,
Some mean absolutely nothing.

When you've become so
accustomed to dreams
That things in reality don't
bother you

When the good becomes too
good
When the bad becomes brutal

Dreams can make all that
happen

Yet sometimes your dreams
aren't all
They're hyped up to be.
Because even if they are your
escape to paradise
They can show you another
side of life

Becoming the very nightmares
you've feared as a child
Even when your an adult.

No one should be scared to
sleep
No one should not be able to
talk about their dreams
No one should scare someone
with what they see when
they're asleep.

It's not how things are meant
to be
But life never goes to plan
Neither does our dreams.
