Dreams

I confess the dreams I live through shake me to my very soul...
I awaken to stark reality, wondering who is really in control...
Is it my vague subconscious just playing tricks on me, or is it flickering dimensions showing what they want me to see?
The line has been blurred of what's real and what's not...
Dreams... Creeping about, hoping to not get caught...
I long for that alarm to wake me before it's too late...
I pray that the dreams, spare me a horrible fate...
