Dreams
Across the miles my heart cries for a love to call its own.
Over the ocean so deep and blue my soul looks for you.
Thru time and space my mind wonders
Looking for all thoughts of you.
Day by day I see your smiling face
In pictures till I know every line.
Night by night in my dreams I am in your arms.
As the sun rises and shadows disappear
Tears stream down my face as I find it only a dream.
I long for sleep to linger on so I don't lose you
