Dreams

Dream
Not so real
Not so true
Until it happens to you

It fills you with delight
If you are gifted
With its sight
Dream oh dream
You hardly come true
But you keep me alive
Give me hope
Allow me to rise

Dreams may work or they may not
It’s up to you to fathom them or not
You just want to be sure
Dreams don’t
Tear you apart

Approach dreams practically
Some may work
Some may not
And if they don’t
Kiss them good bye
And kick them with a bye bye

The real dream is you
The making of you
Into something unbelievably true
Once you discover this
Dreams won’t matter
Even to you
