Dreams

I dream in the light of day With eyes open or closed I see better days; greatness And a brighter future I see free men like stars of the sky I see beggars riding horses I just don’t call them wishes I dream in my dreams Haunting things I see in my sleep Things that bless you with insomnia Stories that no one wishes for I dream in horror scenes; terror I just don’t call them nightmares I dream, Of what I have seen, Of what I think, Of what I want, Of things that became real But they are dreams, I just don’t call them visions.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
