Dreams

Enter the sandman
after the eyes close.
He sneaks up upon us
as we start to doze.
He proceeds to sprinkle
his magical charm
and deep down inside
know he’ll never do harm.
His sole mission and purpose
is to help us to see
what lies in our dreams
for you and for me
Dreams are a part of us,
and also seen at day,
but they come upon us
each night, so I say:
Do not be afraid,
those dreams that you have
are controlled by your mind.
Don’t worry! Be glad!
For deep down inside
of us all, we all know,
that dreams are alive
and are here just to show
us that things can work out,
though symbolic at times,
so go back to the comfort
of our nursery rhymes.
So, if you should tremble
while having a bad dream,
remember, you’re asleep,
it’s not what it seems.
