Dreamland Pt 2

A world unknown,
seen only by my soul.
Where you reside,
so close, yet so far.

In my mind, we dance.
Through the stars,
in a trance.

You hold me close,
I wrap my arms around your waist.
Please do anything you can,
to keep me in this place.

A field of flowers surrounds us.

The moon is shining bright.

You can hear the waterfall in the distance,

And fireflies light up the night.

Here is where I lose it,
wanting everything to be proven.
Knowing you're out there somewhere,
wondering what you're doing.

Dreamland feels more like a curse tonight,
I usually view it as a gift.
But in the present moment,
not knowing if you're alive.
It feels like I want to just quit.

Then you take me to that special place,
all over again.
All over again.
