Dreamland

Big yellow sun spreading warmth and light
The perfect hint of breeze brushing my face
The sprawling fields and rolling hills
Painted with every floral print in God's pallet

Sweet songs from my feathered friends
Mix and mingle with the oceans gentle splash
Golden sand, as far as I can see
Broken only by the oaken piers stately span

Swaying palms mixed with statuesque oaks
Surround my cottage far from town
A scene more perfect than I can describe
A Dreamland for any man

No place more peaceful or private
No place more tranquil or serene
Yet no place could be more like Dreamland
Than anywhere that I'm with you.
