Dreamland

I picture when you're sleeping A softness to your face That testifies you're somewhere Outside of time and space I'd just lay beside you Not making any sound I'd watch your peaceful slumber With no one else around I'd whisper notes of sweetness Place kisses on your cheek You wouldn't even feel them But each of them would speak I'd stroke your hair so gently Affections for you toward All my thoughts confirming How much you are adored
