Dreamland

In early morning dawn
when dreams invade
the peaceful mind
becoming like a active volcano
of visions and colours
of faces and places
some familiar others not
explosive situations
or serene peaceful locations
some bubbling with intense heat
or venting like the rising steam
creating cracks and fissures
to a once sleepy peaceful mind
trapped in a vortex
of emotions and feelings
between wake and dreaming
these early dreams invade.

Good one Phyllis - yes we do have a sleepy hazy short while before waking and facing the day and sometimes we are enjoying this so much that we can hear that hubby has brought us a cup of Joe to face the day, but hang onto the dream because if we don't focus for a moment, it retreats into never-never land. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer

A very interesting piece, Phyllis. It's always been a mystery to me, why very often my most "vivid" dreams are the ones that piledrive in just before I wake up...but are also very often the most difficult to remember.

Yes dreams can be either very memorable and stick with you for a while or you can lose them after just waking. I dream often and remember many. My over active mind. lol Have a wonderful weekend. love phyl

Hi Phyllis, love it! I enjoy waking all relaxed and peaceful & if I was diggin' my 1/2 sleep dream, I like to jump back into it, but for me anyway, has to be done within about 15 seconds upon consciousness or I lose it! Blessings to you my, friend! Sleeting, slippery 32degrees here in Minneapolis (murderopolis) this am ..

I wish I could sometimes forget some of my dreams but others I wish I could fall back to sleep and be in them for a while. Blessings to you also. Warming up here in Regina but very icy and slippery with the warming and freezing going on. Stay well. Have a nice weekend. love phyl

What a dream you had... escape in my dream, and fly, hug the moon, kiss the sky.
