Dreaming Your Dreams

DREAMING YOUR DREAMS
Hang it up or throw it out
it's what has come from twist and shout,
there's nothing in tomorrow that
has not been dreamt about.

All things will stay all the same
 it's only re-arranged
it seems to be another day
 but nothing's really changed.

There is a window sealed up tight
somewhere it's day somewhere it's night
some things might seem to be not nice
 but maybe they are right.

You can ride a shooting star
 from anywhere you are
and it will take you everywhere
but will not take you far.

Life is such a funny thing
sometimes we cry sometimes we sing
we know not where we're coming from,
nor what our dying has to bring.

You will never even see
what your life was meant to be
until you take a closer look
at who you are to me.

Your shades of blue and shades of gray
are always with you night and day
and every dream you've ever have had
 will never go away.

Now as I write these words for you
You'll dream your dreams will all come true
and you will feel my love again
 it's always here for you.
