Dreaming Under God’s Branches He has been looking Searching his whole life Trying to find a special place One where he could wish and dream To remember that one person The one with the kiss he wanted Even though it was so far away Where he could dream of the children he missed And they way they used to laugh and play He could sit and meditate Thinking about all he did right in his life And everything that he ever did which was not so right Lastly, he could talk to his God And ask for His forgiveness Then he can lay beneath the branches of God's temple And he can finally have the rest he always wanted
