Dreaming of City Living

I can only dream of what it is like to live in the city....
Its clear there you can see people's greed or pity.
Families,Couples or Singles....
Tall tales are told out of printers.
And the cold street air must cause the skin to tingle,
Is it true that city life is more memorable in winters?
San Francisco,New York,Chicago
And St.Louis....
Which one has the best of the urban blues?
Which one can put a sweet couple in that special mood?
I think each one holds its special kind of originalty,
While holding on to the harshness of reality.
My heart will always belong to the country side....
I just cant help but every once in a while dream about the mysterious
City side.

Living in the city all my life I dream of what the country life is like. New York is an exciting place to live - but a little dangerous and sometimes nerveracking. I have been to LA and San Francsisco. I wonder what Chicago is like? Peace & Love Matthew Anish

While the city may have its bright lights and attractions, there is also the dark side that leaves you wary, stressed out, and looking over your shoulders all the time. More and more people, who have the option, are looking for a more laid back way of life. Excellent piece - well done, Ettie! Pandita

I grew up in Denver, at the time an overgrown cow town, this is like the 30s and 40s. I wouldn't want to live there now. I'll take a good old small town these days. Love, daver
