Dreaming Eternity

She screamed to awaken
I didn’t know what she meant
It’s me that has shrunken
It all happened while I dreamt

Its beauty and such radiance
Have others fallen to the same hallucination
Like loving a simple acquaintance
It’s a wonderful sensation

But the sensation isn’t real
It’s made up of a fake soul
With the devil I made a deal
From the earth I stole

But is all hope lost
Is there no salvation
Is this how much I cost
Thrown to eternal damnation

But the dream is done
I must wake up to my fate
I have an appointment with the sun
And for this I mustn’t be late
