Dreaming

I dream of a rescuer,
coming from the stars.
Sent from above,
from a place so very far.

I dream of a saviour,
wherever he may be,
to sweep me off in his arms,
to a place where I can be free.

I dream of a place,
where I can call home.
Where happiness knows no end,
and pain never be known.

Alas 'tis but a dream,
bottled in my head,
to be sent out into the ocean,
in hopes of being read.
