Dreaming
I had a dream last night
about you waking up next to me.
You were laying in my arms happy
as could be
and as you looked into my eyes
you ran your fingers through my hair
if God himself had shown up
we wouldn't have know he's there
we held each other close and tight
neither one wanting to let go
but then I woke up from this dream
Feeling a sadness, you will never know
without you here in my arms
my life is sad and dull
I hope you'll come back into my life,
making my heart full.
