Dreaming

Star-studded visions in a different dream
I think I like this place
It's not yet clear as to why I'm here
Maybe I fell from grace

All I know is that the rain has stopped
My visions are now clear
I don't know why I fly so high
But I know I like it here

My mind is hazy but the fog has gone
It has been replaced by sun
All I care is if the weathers fair
And If this place is fun

My Shangri-La used to be so far away
Never thought that I'd arrive
Now that I'm hear I think it's quite clear
That I am now alive

I met a girl down the road from my dream
Star-studded visions come
I tried to speak but my voice was weak
And my mind was quite numb

She took my hand and led me to that place
The ocean beach in her dream
Before I could ask she began to bask
In the bright morning beams

She would not speak so I laid down to rest
Down on the golden sand
I knew my fate would end up being great
If I could just stay in this land

When I awoke I found myself back home
My dreams all faded away
I don't know when I'll go back again
But I'll be ready to play

I wonder about that girl inside my head
I hope we meet again
Maybe I'll return when this life gets stern
I guess I'll wait 'till then

Bye bye bye bye bye bye baby, bye bye bye bye bye bye
Bye bye bye bye bye bye baby, bye bye bye bye bye bye
