Dreamer's Ride

Like a train passing
with lights all aglow
you speed through
my dreams
from where
memories flow
Into the clouds
we enjoy the ride
leaving the rails
of earth behind
No cloudbanks
can hinder
this unearthly ride
for in our spirits
true love ever abides.
No stops along
this wondrous trip
until come morning
when dreams
end, dismissed
and recall finds me
in waking bliss.

Hello Debra, this is such a beautiful poem you've written. One feels the connection with those who've gone before. It surely makes the holidays seem like one's of yore. Wishing you a spirit filled rest of the holiday season and a wonder filled New Year. Peace. :) Your friend Bob.

Dancing with the Angels deep within the night. Soaring into heavens beyond a humans sight. Ethereal reality awaking in mist. A chance to travel in the clouds, we never can resist. Hello Debra, reading you lately always inspires me to travel in the clouds. Sleep tight. :) Peace. :)
