Dreamer and the Dreamed

Although we dream in our sleep, it is not always remembered.
I'd like to dream a thought that enhances my day.
A dream that keeps me smiling as my life takes on its journey.
I don't want nightmares as they cloud your mind, and takes
away the joys.

No, I'd like to dream the joy of meeting the one who created me.
And how the light would allow me to see, its everlasting presence.
I don't want to die, just to know what it is. And how it feels. And if
what I heard is true. Not that I doubt, what faith pulls me through.
