Dreamer

I’ve always been a dreamer
But isn’t dreaming better by far
Than being a front-page streamer
Telling of bad news from afar

My dreams have led me to faraway places
Where cloudless, blue skies rise behind mountains
And rainbows end leads into traces
Of brilliantly overflowing fountains

Sights unseen and never spoken of
Whisper through my agile mind
Where I can be anyone I love
Or anyone who I think is kind

Dreams are amazing pleasures
Capturing hearts with pure treasures

Hello Regina, I myself am a dreamer. I love it. Truly, every line here comforts me in knowing, dreams are the most pleasurable state of being, umm unless I'm having a nightmare. LOL.... Once I dreamt of a distant place. Now, I find myself dreaming, and searching for this place always. A well done poem... Hugs..Linda
