Dreamer
When the water sang fire
Sweet roaring flames engulfed
And molded into melodies
Of a dreamer
From a far away land
I heard it speak words of love
Of guilt and regret
Choosing to let go
Before every holding it,
Marveling its beauty.
Greed embedded and woven
With each wave who dared
To touch the hot passion
Anger of the red perishing under the blue
While it looks fiery swimming underneath
Water and fire blended
Into a sky that bled heavy
Drops fall and carcass
The dry swollen skin
Who hides the soul-
Of a lover and a dreamer
Of what had been and will never be again
Of the joy and the pain
Of all that lost for no gain
A warrior fallen before the battle
Fallen from the grace of skies
To the water that sang of fire.
