Dreamcatcher

dip into the Dreamtime
there is nothing to fear,
hang up your troubles
on star’s hanging near

as your slipping down
farther into the night,
dreams will creep out
and give you a fright

a dusting of the sparkles
that wane from the sky,
and a glitter of dreams
now fall from your eyes

catch a handful of a wisp
floating out from a cloud,
hold on for a journey
that will leave you wowed

dust off your dream-catcher
and cast out the net,
never knowing what gems
and messages you’ll get

but hold onto your dreams
and fly to the stars,
but remember to wake up
or it will carry you too far

~~~~
the surface of nightmares
I’ve drowned in time,
is a fear that I carry
and a fight that I mime
