Dream Wonder

When a weary city, tired of light and noise,

Is bothered once more by clouds pouring clear rain,

?

The buildings, swaying like stalks of rice,

Suddenly stretch up like bamboo after rain.

?

When the rain, done with its complaints, softens its tune,

And narrows the line between the grey sky and the city,

?

The rain-soaked towers wear the clouds like a crown,

And leaning on a friend, they fall into a quiet sleep.
