Dream Sleep

I lay awake in the wee hours of the night can't get no sleep when you're out of my sight I hear a whisper in the dark whenever we're apart could it really be you or the pounding of my heart Sometimes I see your face up in the cloud You're staring in my face and laughing out loud I feel a love tap upon my shoulder It looks like you just a little bit older I pick up the phone to make a call Then suddenly the cord rips from the wall I scream out loud Oh! what could it be You answer in a soft brisk voice my sweet it's only me No need to fret or even scream, the truth of the matter is It's only a dream.

A really sweet and loving poem Gwen, love it. - It's almost 24.00 midnight here in Norway now, I need my "beauty sleep" - must say good night now. :) - oxox / / Anne-Lise :)
