Dream Realm
She sat watching the cold dark day
hint of sadness on the face
deep thoughts hidden.
Dreams came fast and furious
mixed, jumbled and troubled
she felt she should reach out
yet nothing was there
in this void to give answers
to what she was seeking
troubling tricks of the mind
or maybe she was just blind
and could not see what lay
in front of her eyes.
In waking state
left to ponder and wonder
about the realms of dreams
where nothing is as it seems.
