Dream (Part 1 of the Dreaming Series)

Close your eyes,
A paradise,
That you prefer,
Can be inferred,

In your sleep,
Your mind will reap,
The thoughts you sow,
Where fantasies grow,

Dreams pursue,
Where thoughts ensue,
Conscious leaves,
Sub-conscious breathes,

Fairy tales that don't exist,
Imagination will persist,
But as age dawns, you will learn,
That honesty is hardly earned,

As much as it is a gift,
Given to hosts of tongues so swift,
Sleeplessness is a sign of heart,
A sign of thoughts of one so smart,
