Dream On Ice

Whistling through forests grey and darkening
Warning night hunters back to hiding
Wind as violin on ice branches crying
Whipping from trunk stiff limbs knocking
Weak pines roots from ground unearthing
Whirlwind dance broken life bouncing
With soft snow peaks and angles rounding
Walking through cracks with ice teeth biting
While shoeless blue dreams on never ending
Warm white sands are running
