Dream On

Silly of me to think that I
would ever find a loving guy
 for my active little soul
and yet I grow old
silly of me to think that he
could love me the way I need to be
 cherished abound
all that foolish love
I thought that I found
so leave me to Hope
and wish you think of me
just I like this
 not just a fling
or any casual or usual thing
but a love that is so rare
that it would take years to hold so dear
silly of me to Dream On past
 all the hurt
The shame and the scars
for someone just for me
the way I dreamed it should always be
