Dream of Life
You sleep like a dream, die as it slowly fades away
Majestic like the night.
It falls so far away under and beneath the feet of the sky.
Lying with your head to the moon the sun shimmers and your gone.
I let go of reality for only a second.
You sleep like a dream with your eyes open.
I gently cross my arms.
I'm slowly dying, pulling and grabbing at the wrinkled hands of time.
Death can not stop us from living.
Like a dream we merely feed off the night.
To sleep is to live forever in darkness.
We awake to our death our lives only dreams.
Oblivious and yet so familiar at times.
Devotion like the night in witch our life was conceived in loyalty to our mother.
Manifested feelings of our own design to give us feeling.
pain and undeniable dreams of life.
