Dream of Innocence

The hills roll with grain color of gold In the hemp wind whispers ballad of old Every human interaction is a saga that is about to unfold Some of them just as important as others even if not officially told Buzzard towards lark has no ill will As he chases the lark passed every hill He is not doing it for a thrill But none the less if he catches the lark he will make a kill Eerie is hemp’s song But if one carefully listens to words painted in surreal tongue Before long You will hear echoes that somewhere out there belong Children nearby eat Red currant tart and sweet The sun watches over them pouring down the heat Later in the evening bonfires are lit Fate of those children in future is not always good But for now the time seems if still it has stood Hopefully they all reach adulthood Even then will each be happy and successful in any likely hood? Only the hemp song their innocence lets them keep The song that caresses their souls when they sleep It is the magic of Summum bonum that is so deep No matter what fate has in store for them let that dream them keep
