Dream Meanderings
Wired Electric
The dream came on in the light switch in the wires
Behind the walls where ideas run, collide and rise
After the bulb blew out, filament and all
Glass shattered thin, fragmented shards on the floor
Never to illuminate again
The dream moved on to another room of dark
To feel the floor boards blind
Fall in no direction
Day and night are forbidden and wrong
Are the same concepts when you have no eyes
The pretty young girl will have to wait
Stay frozen in time In her red green skirt and yellow scarf
To be undressed in light, to be appreciated
Dreams don’t really see things as they are
Reality is strange when not awake
Between partitions, Light switches work behind the walls
Never go off, electrified just right
Dreams fade away in a pretty spark
Young girl remains though in my thoughts
