Dream Girl

Only in my dreams, I get to see the moon, With
the hope that one day, I'll get to see you soon,
But as we all know, Most dreams do not last, So
every time I wake up, My opportunity to see
you is passed, My heart is only beating, Because
my body tells it to, Without you I feel so dead
inside, Yet I cling to life for you, Sometimes
hope seems so lost, And my faith is low, Why
I choose to keep going, Is because in my
heart I know, That sometime later in life,
My dream might come true, That before my
time has come, I get to see you, And confirm
that love, Has and always will last, And that
my feelings of sorrow, Stay in the past, So
that we may find, That if we strive for God's
love together, With love and repentance,
We will always be together, forever...

...and ever
