Dream
Dream
I had a dream.
You were there.
You tried to warn me but I didn't care.
Suppose I had.
I guess that might have been just as bad.
Guess this.
Guess that.
That carries every "what if" and "should have".
It would take a miracle now.
A miracle I can't see and I don't have yet.
It's hard to live with that regret.
I should have listened.
I should have just said okay.
I wouldn't be where I am today.
I thought I was right and you were wrong.
It was always the opposite all along.
Now I have some hope but a very distant dream that I have to believe will one day come
true for me.
Dreams don't happen instantly.
Some take years.
Some take months and days.
Others take hours and minutes away.
The time you see is the time you have.
It's just a fraction of your goal to see your dreams in action.
It takes great patience and even greater passion in its own frame and fashion.
I speak for myself and maybe for you while we're both waiting for our grandest dreams to
come true.
Love and care will always get you somewhere.
It's a matter of time in a time that doesn't quite yet exist.
But it's the very meaning of dedication that invites you to persist.
Don't ever give up on something so perfect it can't afford to be missed.
Come with me.
Open your eyes to all that I see.
Let's together discover and create a dream that will forever await.
