Notes About The Poem

how to post the drawing illustrating the story

Drawing

I know to avoid a dog showing its teeth by crossing the street
learning from an early age not to look for the bleed
as it could be enraged and not looking for a pat
but a good meal over few weeks will bring him to my door
and as a pet forever it brings the warmth of its heart to my castle with no moat
the crocodile floating in the waters of memories takes laps to eat the bird landing on its back and leaves the fish to swim
a skeleton in disguise
