The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Draw

Powerless enemies
Crawl all around me
Fighting a battle
They'll never win

Powerless enemies
Creep up behind me
This is a battle
I'll never win

Until it's over
I'll curse my lack of power
For the goal is not my enemies
death
or their defeat

It's reaching our mutual goal
and satisfying
our mutual lusts

Thanks a lot. This is my first time writing a poem, so it's really appreciated.

Very interesting perspective in this write, Tommy! I find it very compelling that although your enemies are "powerless," you feel it is a battle you'll "never win." The last verse is especially thought-provoking. Nice work! Best Wishes, Carolyn
