Drained Dry

drained dry,
i almost throw in the towel
however with every moment of you contradicting yourself,
i am inspired to find strength and that tiny loophole where positivity hides....patiently awaiting its move
when a storm brews and the painted heart on every wall is being smeared, restoration is never far in the center of Faith....

drained dry,
i take a second to allow the gentle draft of calm relieve me
i look at you with a quiet hint of sorrow and get on that spin-o-gram again
i find hope in the calmness of positive possibility
i then decide to advance on the king of your preconceived accusations
when a storm brews and the fainted heart on the tear-flooded ground is being stomped upon, restoration is never far in the center of Faith....
