Fluid words pour yet my mouth is still dry morning washed ashore hours ago many moons have passed i am still explaining away my life, my sanity now i wear you around my neck all that is left of us i cannot cut the rope that binds us but i can't pull you closer i struggle with the words dripping down my chin without meaning this is getting us nowhere i breathe you in with painful gasps take you everywhere with me you're seeping out my pores slowly i'll get my freedom for j. 1997

https://youtu.be/9n2VSe_lja4 "i breathe you in with painful gasps take you everywhere with me you're seeping out my pores slowly WE'LL get my freedom" This part resonated initially...and reminded me strongly of Breathing by Kate Bush. The whole of it is familiar to me having to live in that situation... but that was decade after you penned your experience. And I could not verbalize it so thank you....btw it is quite witchy...as in our craft and practices. And the overall balance in play of the varied contrasts occuring simutaneously. Like AFI's, "Will the flood behind me catch up before the fire inside me...."
