Dragons

She bleeds fire
Heat coursing through an open wound
Icy tears stream down her face
She's condemned for life

The blood burns her skin
Scars mark the veins on her body
She sees the stares
She hears the laughter

She breathes hate and contempt
She fears who she is
She dreams of dragons
Defending themselves with fire

She screams when she bleeds
Pain filling her soul
Frozen tears can't soothe it
Only death can bring her peace

People don't understand
What she's gone through
Nor do they care
But soon they will

She will fight back
Fire with fire
 She'll burn someone else
So they can feel her pain

Life is survival
Knowledge is power
Ignorance is bliss
Pain is knowledge

Wounds will heal
Scars will fade
But she will always remember
The burn

This is a really intense right. The emotions burn through the words... raw.
