Dragonfly

He Sits Waiting Patiently On the white heather With green and gold enamelled head. A Late Summer Visitor Lazing in the sun : A dragonfly with lace-like wings. Like A Fossil, Motionless, From prehistory, An insect frozen in amber. As A Larva He’s waited Five years water-bound, Finally free, he flies away.
