Dragon Flies

fast, translucent wings
shining, metallic, sleek body
little dragon fly you hover close by
you move in a world
ever so precise
You fly over the pond
up and down
so gracefully
Little dragon fly what have you seen?
your reflection
you see the sun as it hits your beautiful colors
you swerve from side to side
not a care in your world

If only we could see our reflections
see how beautiful we are
with not a care in the world

Mary: They dodge in and out, following the sleek trout in the cool pond below. Took me back to my youth, fishing with my best friend, Butch. Thanks for prompting that memory. Keep them coming. oldbuck
