Emile Pinet Poet Quatrain

Dragon Eyes

She enters the bar like a storm;
thunder and lightning in her wake.
And a deluge of tears follows;
while the very ground seems to quake.

A lady to be reckoned with;
fire flares within her dragon eyes.
And strikes fear in the hearts of men;
exposing their deceit and lies.

Like spheres of fiery energy;
her eyes illuminate the night.
And as her ire intensifies;
she’s determined to set things right.

She's an explosion of fireworks;
as spectacular as the dawn.
And fueling flames of fury;
in a blinding flash, she is gone.

The Grahamburglar July 31, 2015 at 5:03 PM I love the GoT books. I haven't watched the shows, but I think I recognize that as Daenerys Targaryan. I think the development of her character from the timid younger sister to the warrior dragon queen is one of the best in the series. I love the idea of a familial bloodline with some mysterious connection to dragons. I think your poem is a great tribute to the world and lore created by Mr. Martin.
