Dragon and Phoenix

Were it not for Dragon and Phoenix; humankind could not survive. Dragon is our courage, among other strengths. Phoenix renews us when we feel beat or near giving up on life’s challenges; when we just can’t go any further, Phoenix flies us into the flames, dies and is reborn.  It is a different sort of strength from that provided by dragon.  Phoenix renews, regenerates us so, we can walk our life path again.  The wisdom of these two sages…unlimited.

Creatures ancient and
Wise are Phoenix and Dragon;
Their advice, priceless.

I do not have any tattoos, but if I did, it would be a green baby dragon, wearing a red tam, with a little purple and blue scarf around his neck so you know I loved this fantasy poem, M.L.
