Drafted Into Dreams
Aquamarine were the striking eyes of Lily
staring at the August cerulean sky;
and praising her stunning beauty,
I picked up lavendar flowers to make her sigh!
Her knee-lenght dress made of silk, was bright chartreuse...
that's because yellow daffodils in sunlit meadows
gave her inspiration to paint lovely landscapes;
if a painter puts passion into a painting: it's a masterpiece!
Her gorgeous necklace was made of red coral beads,
she preferred these over the precious gemstones, and to her
they were too priceless, they made her feel much closer
to Nature and posing as a goddess, Lily was drifted into dreams!
