Cold falling rain

Shed tears

Mimicking hell’s waters

Trying to drown

Sinking struggling justice

Seeking to survive

Deceiving tidal waves

Seeking to douse

Hope held high

In a stoic hand

Of a lady

Struggling to master

Anchored ideological

Chartered political moorings…
