Down On My Knees

They Told Me You Would Listen,
All I Had to Do Was Believe.
 Their Conviction Finally Swayed Me,
So I Am down Here on My Knees.

They Say Knock and the Door Will Open,
I Found That Hard to Believe,
but I'm in Desperate Need of Help,
So I Am down Here on My Knees.

Tears Keep Getting in My Eyes,
I Want So Much to Believe
and I'm Knocking Very Hard on the Door,
While I'm down Here on My Knees.

Now I'll Thank You Lord with All My Heart,
for the Faith I Need to Believe
and Thank You for All My Friends
That Helped Me Get down on My Knees.
