Down On My Knees

Shadows scare me on a daily basis
Give me hope instead of hopelessness
Alone, yet not on my own with my Father
This anguish inside will no longer bother

I am this plague,
Devoured by horrid lies
In me, I ache
Time flies and I go through my lows and highs

You are flawless
I can tell, miss
I’m down on my knees
Heal her completely please

Heartless lullabies
Remind me of your goodbyes
You’re my valley-vibrant halo
Hello, hello, hello – here’s an XO

The past, thankfully, is under control
I got to heal my scattered, shattered soul
Down on my knees, praying
I don’t know what I’m saying
But, You do
I love You
Shadows linger,
But the light of His Word is better
His light led to her
I’m left oh so unsure
