Down On Me

Mired in muck

Way up to my head

I am just yuck

And run away dread

Not very happy

With how I do look

Looking so crappy

I hide in a nook

I look in the mirror

To see someone glum

If you could hear her

I look very dumb

Not much of a man

And more like a boy

I don't have a plan

Just some broken old toy

My life almost spent

I am needing some love

Thats why I went

And flew like a dove

No need to forgive

I do not deserve it

For as long as I live

I will not conserve it

See you my friend

I am leaving you now

So weak that I bend

I fell from the bough
