Down Memory Lane

~ Down Memory Lane ~ My heart took a stroll down Memory Lane Primed for pleasure it found only pain Broken hearts strewn 'cross the highway Words that slipped out for them dearly paid Faces grown old once again young The bloom of youth withered in serpentine tongues As my journey of Hope drew to an end I waved fond goodbye to these cherished friends

It's sad when that happens, sometimes it's better the things we don't know. Nicely done my friend.

Yes, the things we don't and didn't know are surely best left buried... Digging in graveyards almost never comes out well. Warmest wishes, Chris. ~ Gershon

Well written Gershon, I sometimes find its best to leave the past where it is, in the past. Tom

You know, your comment is spot-on, Tom. The past truly belongs to the past. Everything is best when its fresh. Only occasionally can a revisit match the original or inspire in any way... :) gw
