Down In the Valley

Yeah,I've been down in the valley
Down in the depths of darkness inside the devils dirtiest alleys
I've seen demons rally while destroying our dreams
I've seen sad ones sigh and silent ones scream
I've been stalked by scarecrows of scorn and shadows of death
Every insanity inch Satan steals my last breath

Yeah,I've been down in the valley
Valley's full of vipers and vultures
Self-sabotage in retarded sub-cultures
I've feasted on fruit from many temptation trees
Forbidden soon fallen to my bruised and bloody knees

Yeah,I've been down in the valley
Where shepherds of sin live their darkest desires
Where the fallen and forgotten stay frozen in the fire
Where monsters and madmen they mangle the meek
Where wolves wait at wishing wells on those sleepwalking sheep

Yeah,I've been down in the valley and I don't want to go back
Where evil ones attack and the wicked bring wrath
The valley is behind me
The cross is now before me
No weapon formed against me can ever destroy me
Yes,I live in the lights on those heavenly heights

Yeah,I've been down in the valley
That's the end of that neverending night
